Stories with Grit

I grew up reading glossy magazines like many other Gen X girls. Seventeen. YM. Lucky. I loved them all. And I dreamed about publishing my own stories someday. It only took a few decades, a pandemic, and a nudge from my best friend to make that first pitch. Today I’m finding my voice on printed pages with more grit than gloss. Now isn’t that ironic?
